May I print in the Library?

Answer

Yes-- printing is available to Drew students in the Library.

Beginning Fall 2022, printing on campus is through a new system called ePRINTit. Students will find ePRINTit kiosks on the main floor of the library and going forward, printing will limited to Drew students only.

  • Drew students are able to print files from anywhere on campus using their personal computers or mobile devices.
  • Their print requests are sent to a cloud-based print queue, and then when students go to a kiosk in the library to retrieve their print, they will login with their Drew ID and approve printing their document(s) so they will be released to the printer.
  • There will be two kiosks on the main floor of the Academic Commons: one for black and white printing and one for color.

Details about the ePRINTit system:

  • The ePRINTit system is set up so that students begin with the equivalent of a $5.00 balance at no charge (100 black and white pages or 25 color pages).
  • For those situations in which students must print beyond that, the cost will be $0.05 for a black and white page and $0.20 for a color page.
  • Students can extend the amount they may print by replenishing their account easily in $5 increments using a credit card as often as they need to do so;
  • Drew hopes to provide the option to use Drew ID cards sometime during spring semester 2023.
  • Additional information, including how to create an ePRINTit account, can be found at the Printing with ePRINTit” page in U-KNOW.
