Is there a quiet place where I can study?
Answer
Yes, there are designated silent study areas throughout the library. Each room/area of the Library is designated as one of three color-coded "Zones." Look for the signs hanging on doors, walls, and columns:
- Silent (Red, self-enforced silence, individual study)
- Quiet (Yellow, low, brief conversation, group study)
- Social (Green, collaboration, group study)
Also, depending on the student status, there may be options for study carrels.
Please consult the Study Spaces page of the Welcome to the Library! guide for more info about study spaces in the Library.
Please consult the LibCal Reservation System, or ask at the Circulation Desk, to determine which study areas are open and accessible to library patrons.
