How do I find a particular journal?

Answer

To search for a particular journal, select the "Journal Finder" link under the main Scholarsearch search box on the Library webpage

Enter the journal name in the search box.

If we have it, it should appear in the search results.  Under "Full Text Access" you will see a list of library databases that carry the journal and the extent of coverage, meaning which dates full-text is available.  Check these dates to help you decide which database to use to access the journal.

Beneath the journal title, you may also see "Print,"  which indicates a print copy of the journal may be found on the lower level of the library in the compact shelves.

You may also see "Microfilm," which indicates the journal may be viewed via microfilm.  Cabinets containing microfilm may also be found on the lower level of the library. Look for the microfilm viewing machines on the main level of the Library, outside the Center for Academic Excellence (CAE).  If needed, please ask for help at the Circulation Desk.

For both print and microfilm, you'll need to visit the library to access the material.
