Can members of the Drew community get access to the Firestone Library at Princeton University?

Answer

Members of the Drew community may use select libraries at Princeton University.  Please see details below:

To access select library buildings on Princeton's campus:

  • For Drew faculty:  Princeton will issue free access cards to all faculty members from other institutions of higher education. Faculty need to go to the Access Office in Firestone Library and present their faculty identification. They will be issued an access pass for up to a semester at a time.
  • For Drew students: Students will need to purchase access to use materials in the library. The fees for access are $37 a week and $74 a month (Fall 2022). Access may be purchased upon presenting identification with photograph to the Access Office.

The Access Office is located in the lobby of Firestone Library and hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.

To borrow materials:

In order to borrow items from Princeton's Libraries, Drew faculty and students would need to purchase borrowing privileges. The fees for borrowing privileges are $800 for the year or $400 for six months.

For more information, please contact the Access Office in Princeton's Firestone Library at either phone number (609) 258-5737 or email: access@princeton.libanswers.com.
