Can I print in color in the library?

Answer

Yes--  color printing is available to Drew students in the Library.

Color printing requires using the ePRINTit printing kiosk in the library. Printing is limited to Drew students only -- non-Drew affiliates will not be able to print.

Details about the ePRINTit experience:

  • Drew students are able to print files from anywhere on campus using their personal computers or mobile devices.
  • Print requests are sent to a cloud-based print queue. When students go to a kiosk in the library to retrieve their print, they login with their Drew ID and approve the print job. Documents are then released to the printer.
  • There are two kiosks on the main floor of the Academic Commons, in University Technology's Circuit Tree area.

Details about the ePRINTit system:

  • The ePRINTit system is set up so that students begin with the equivalent of a $5.00 balance at no charge (100 black and white pages or 25 color pages).
  • For those situations in which students must print beyond that, the cost is $0.05 for a black and white page and $0.20 for a color page.
  • Students can extend the amount they may print by replenishing their account easily in $5 increments using a credit card as often as you need to do so;
  • Drew hopes to provide the option to use Drew ID cards by the beginning of next semester.
  • Additional information, including how to create an ePRINTit account, can be found at the “Printing with ePRINTit” page in U-KNOW.
